The Reilly / Carey Family
of Rensselaer, New York
Born in Ireland, Patrick Reilly and John Carey came to the United States during the time of the Great Potato Famine between the years 1845 and 1850. Patrick Reilly would settle in Albany County in upstate New York to raise his family. John Carey would raise his family in Rensselaer County. These two New York Counties are seperated by the Hudson River.
